Q. What type of deposit accounts do you offer?
A. We offer a wide range of products and services for both personal and business customers.    You may also stop in to any of our offices or call our Customer Care Center at 617-969-4300 for more information.

Q. What type of loan accounts do you offer?
A. We offer a wide range of consumer, residential and commercial loans. For more information, please contact the Village Loan Center at 617-964-0117.

Q. Can I open a new account online?
A. At this time, we do not have online account opening. 

Q. Can I apply for a loan with The Village Bank online?

Q. Can I order new checks online?
A. Yes, Customers with Village Online Banking can order checks through online banking provided they have ordered checks with the bank in the past.  If this is your first time ordered checks, you will need to either, stop by any office, call our Customer Care Center at 617-969-4300 or send us a secure message within Village Online Banking.

Q. How can I submit a “Stop Payment”?
A. Village Bank customers can submit a stop payment order through Village Online Banking, The Village Line Telephone Banking, or by calling/stopping by your local office during normal business hours.

Q. I am a business owner, what does The Village Bank have to offer my business?
A. The Village Bank offers many  deposit account options for business customers.  Our premier product is our eBusiness Checking.  With eBusiness Checking, you have the option to do ACH, wires, mobile deposit and more, all from the comfort of your office.  You only pay for the features you use!   Have more questions?  Contact our Customer Care Center at 617-969-4300 to be connected with a business specialist today.

Q. Does The Village Bank offer an Overdraft Protection Plan?
A. No, we do however offer a product called Village Reserve Line of Credit (LOC) to our customers that can act as an overdraft protection for a checking account.  The LOC is linked to your checking account, and the line ia accessed when your account no longer has money in it.   The only charge for this product is the interest on the outstanding balance of your LOC.   The LOC can be applied for with a loan application and is submit to loan approval.   This process can trake up to 72 hours and once approved it will be attached to your checking account.   We offer this product for personal and business checking accounts.
