My Village
Each year, hundreds of runners participate in West Newton’s annual Paddy’s “Shillelagh Shuffle” Road Race to benefit Newton Special Athletes. Generous community support keeps this charitable tradition running strong, year after year.

“The Village Bank has been a great supporter of the race every year,” says road race sponsor Curtis O’Hara. “They’re always the first ones to help out when we need it, both with money and with encouragement.” Adds son and race co-sponsor Karl O’Hara, “It’s so nice to deal with a bank that’s giving back to the local community.”
