Nomination by The Village Bank earns The Price Center a $2,500 grant

The Price Center, a West Newton-based organization that has served individuals with developmental disabilities for nearly four decades, has received a $2,500 grant from the Massachusetts Bankers Association (MBA) Charitable Foundation.

The Price Center is among the highest-rated providers of residential, clinical, day habilitation and employment services in the state. The Center was nominated for the MBA Charitable Foundation grant by Susan Paley, vice president of community relations for The Village Bank.

“The Price Center is thrilled to receive this grant to support individuals with disabilities,” said President Justin Sallaway.

“We are grateful to The Village Bank for nominating us for the Massachusetts Bankers Charitable Foundation award, and we are always moved by the generosity of the community leaders who support us in our mission to encourage personal growth and participation in the community.”
On behalf of the banking industry, the MBA Charitable Foundation makes major gifts annually to deserving causes nominated by member banks in their respective areas. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $1.2 million in grants to non-profit organizations.

According to the MBA, Massachusetts-based banks contribute an estimated $40 million per year to deserving community organizations.
