Boecher is new CFO at The Village Bank

Joseph A. De Vito, president and CEO of The Village Bank, announces that Eric D. Boecher, CFA, has joined the Bank as chief financial officer.

Boecher has over 20 years of professional experience, including early-career positions with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Banks and with the U.S. Treasury - Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in Boston. His most recent position was with Savers Bank in Southbridge, where he served as chief financial officer - operations.

Boecher holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, with a concentration in finance and management information systems. He has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.

Currently a Connecticut resident, he will relocate to the greater Newton area. Active in his community, Boecher served as a Little League and soccer coach, and as a member of the Advisory Committee for Capital Expenditures to the Town’s Board of Finance.
