Kathleen Malloy promoted at The Village Bank
AUBURNDALE, MASSACHUSETTS, October 9, 2007 … Kenneth C. Brennan, president and CEO of The Village Bank, announced today that Kathleen Malloy is now an assistant treasurer of the Bank following a recent vote of the Board of Directors.
Malloy joined The Village Bank as manager of its Newton Highlands Office in April 2007. She recently relocated to the Framingham area from Delaware, where she worked for MBNA America Bank for 14 years as a senior personal banking officer, focusing on small business development.
She holds two bachelor degrees from the University of Delaware, with concentrations in sociology and foreign languages studies/Spanish. She is a founding member of Soroptimist International of Greater Boston, an organization of professional and business women focused on community service, and was a long-time member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware.
The Newton Highlands branch of The Village Bank is located at 56 Winchester Street. The Bank also has full-service offices in Auburndale, Newtonville, Waban and Wayland, and a Village Loan Center in Auburndale and maintains an online banking presence at village-bank.com.
