Roy McCoy is new Training Director at The Village Bank
AUBURNDALE, MASSACHUSETTS, May 5, 2008 … Kenneth C. Brennan, president and CEO of The Village Bank, announced today that Roy M. McCoy of North Weymouth has joined the Bank as training director.
In this newly created position, McCoy will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic skills training programs designed to enhance overall Bank performance.
He joins The Village Bank from Belmont Savings Bank, where he was director of training and sales. His professional experience includes similar positions with Brookline Bank, Mellon Financial Service Corporation, and Medford Bank. He also served as human resource officer at Quincy Savings Bank early in his career.
McCoy holds a bachelor’s degree and certification in education from the University of Massachusetts/Boston and is an honors graduate of the Massachusetts School of Finance.
He is an adjunct faculty member teaching management, finance and economics at Curry College in Milton, and is an associate professor teaching investments, mutual funds, management, and human relations at New England College of Finance in Boston. He also tutors students at the Sylvan Learning Center in Braintree.
