My name is Karla Snyder. I’m a mortgage underwriter and I’ve been with the bank for 13 years. I work on the residential lending team. Being part of The Village Bank is living the pledge. It’s part of a community, helping people, looking at customer service from the customer’s point of view, being able to help people.
As a mortgage underwriter, I live the pledge by accompanying borrowers through the mortgage process, especially for a first-time home buyer where they’re not familiar with the process. I’m available to educate, have them feel comfortable and safe, and guide them through the process so they can buy their first home.
I enjoy being part of the residential lending team because we are a family. We collaborate together on loans from the beginning of the process to the end of the process. We all like to help people and we like to help each other.
If we have a question, we collaborate and get answers together. The team is made up of great people and we’re supported by management in the Bank. Thank you.
