Joseph De Vito, president and CEO of The Village Bank, has announced the hiring of Michelle Peters as vice president, compliance/CRA officer.

Peters joins the Bank after serving as a signing director at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA), where she led the firm’s national mortgage advisory service line. Her knowledge in financial operations, secondary market, and risk management has guided financial institutions across the country through complex compliance landscapes.

In her new role, Peters will be responsible for a forward-looking approach to compliance at The Village Bank, one that blends strategic oversight with meaningful community engagement. Before her tenure at CLA, she held leadership roles at Cambridge Savings Bank, where she gained hands-on experience in retail banking, lending compliance, and customer engagement.

Peters currently sits as the board chair for The Guild for Human Services in Concord, and she holds a degree from the New England College of Finance. She resides with her family in Arlington.
