The Village Bank Board chair, Thomas R. Keery II, has announced the appointment of Michael P. Madon to the Board of Directors.
“We are excited to welcome Michael Madon to the Board of Directors,” Keery said. “He has a wealth of knowledge and experience, especially in cybersecurity, and we look forward to his contributions to the continued success of our organization.”
Madon is a recognized expert in the fields of behavioral analytics, cybersecurity, secure manufacturing, and financial intelligence. He has successfully founded, led, and exited several companies and retired as an officer and technology scout for the United States Army.
Madon currently is the chief revenue officer of ABCorp, a global leader in security, manufacturing and innovation. He previously held leadership positions at Mimecast and the United States Treasury Department. His recent entrepreneurial ventures were founding Pretaa, a behavioral analytics software company, and Ataata, a security awareness training and behavioral risk management platform acquired by Mimecast.
A graduate of the Command and General Staff College, Madon holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of International Affairs from Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell. He serves on several advisory boards and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Kyrgyzstan.
