Joseph De Vito, president and CEO of The Village Bank, has announced the hiring of Klio DiCenzo as senior vice president/human resources.

DiCenzo comes to the Bank after working as the chief people officer at RA Capital, LP, a multistage investment firm in Boston. She previously held leadership positions in human resources at Athenahealth and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

The Belmont native and Hopkinton resident will oversee the human resources and training functions of the Bank, and lead the institution’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. DiCenzo is a graduate of Simmons College.

“We are excited to add Klio to our talented senior team,” De Vito said. “She brings energy, knowledge and experience to the position, and we believe she is a great fit for The Village Bank.”

The Village Bank now operates nine full-service branches in Newton, Wayland and Waltham, as well as a Corporate Office and Loan Center in Upper Falls. The Bank offers online banking services at village-bank.com and maintains a Facebook presence at facebook.com/villagebank.

The Bank is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF).
