Joseph De Vito, president and CEO of The Village Bank, has announced the donation of $5,000 to Studio for High-Performance Design & Company (HPDC).

The non-profit organization, located in Newton, is a classroom and educational center for sustainable design and construction, teaching consumers, students, architects, and tradespeople of all experience levels.

Studio HPDC was founded by Village Bank customer Nick Falkoff, principal of Auburndale Builders Inc. Falkoff was featured in a recent Boston Globe piece that described his work and his forward thinking on climate activism.

β€œThe Village Bank is proud to continue to work with local organizations to help address climate change while strengthening our commitment to the environment,” De Vito said.
