The Village Bank has partnered with Cradles to Crayons for the ninth annual Warm Winter Wishes drive to collect new or gently used winter clothing for local children facing poverty. This year’s drive will run from November 13 – December 29 and The Village Bank will accept donations of winter coats, jackets, hats, scarves, boots, gloves, and mittens for children who benefit from Cradles to Crayons’s services. Donations can be dropped off at the Bank’s Wayland Office, located at 62 Boston Post Road.

Located in Newton, Cradles to Crayons provides infants to children of age 12 in low-income and homeless situations with the supplies they need to thrive at home, school, and while playing. The organization also has two other locations, which can be found in Chicago and Philadelphia.

“We are grateful to partner with Cradles to Crayons during this year’s Warm Winter Wishes drive, helping them carry out their vision of one day reaching a day where every child will have the essentials they need to feel safe, warm, ready to learn, and valued,“ said Joseph De Vito, president, and CEO of The Village Bank. “The work they do to support the children in the community is invaluable, and we invite other local organizations and neighbors to join us in making donations.”
